Earth Day Blog Hop

Hi, I'm very excited to be participating in my very first blog hop.  I hope you will be inspired by the projects you'll be seeing today.  You should have come here from my mom Rhonda's blog, if not please start at the beginning on Michelle's blog.  I know you will want to see all the talent and inspiration there is today to Go Green.

For my project I decided to repurpose an empty box left over from when my baby sister got her new hearing aids.  My mom didn't want to throw it away and it was just sitting in the closet, so I used it to make a nice box for my treasures.
Here is the box before I redid it.
Here is the top of the box.  I used scraps of paper from my mom's stash to make this box.  The flowers are some from her stash also and weren't being used.  She helped me write my name with glitter.
Here's the front of the box.  The ribbon is some I got on clearance at a local store.  The lace was a find at the DI.
Here is the inside of the lid.
And the whole inside of the box.

Thanks for taking a look.  I hope you have been a little inspired.  From here you go to Ellen's blog.

Have a great day.

  24. Abby, like how you made the decision to line the inside of the box. I would have forgotten about that. I have dome a pizza box and, now that I have seen your creation, I am going to go back and line the inside
