My Top 3 Book Ships

Hello everyone!
Today I wanted to share my favorite ships from books and add a little extra twist. I'm going to share 3 songs for each couple that I think represent their relationships.

Michael Vey and Taylor Ridley (Michael Vey series)
They are my #1 ship. I love them so much and I want a relationship like theirs. They've been through so much and have grown for the better from it.
1 - Endless Love by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross
2 - If I Could Fly by One Direction
3 - Who Wants to Live Forever by Queen

Sophie Foster and Keefe Sencen (Keeper of the Lost Cities series)
If they don't end up together, I think I might scream. They are so perfect for each other.
1 - Magic by Olivia Newton-John
2 - Could This be Love by The Wanted
3 - Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis

Elias Veturius and Laia of Serra
They have been a recent addition to my list, but they I couldn't not add them. If they don't end up being endgame then I will be so mad in book 4. But they are so perfect for each other and they need each other.
1 - I Don't Want to Love You by Taylor Mathews
2 - Burnin' Up by Jonas Brothers
3 - Don't Go Breaking My Heart by Backstreet Boys

Who are your favorite ships?
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

Totally Didn't Book Tag

Hello everyone!
I was catching up on some Booktube videos the other day and came across this tag that Books with Emily Fox did and thought I would give it a try. I just want to preface by saying that these are my personal opinions.

Totally didn't need to have a sequel/sequels.
I loved this book and the sequel was a little disappointing in my opinion. Plus it was way longer than it needed to be. I've only read it once and am planning on reading it again this year before I decide I completely hate it.

Totally didn't need to have more than one POV.
I hate when authors do the first few books with one POV and then in the third book switch to two or more. It bugs me so much. If you wanted to write more than one POV, start doing it in book 1! I feel like this book would have been so much better with just one POV.

Totally didn't need to change cover art through the middle of the series.
I actually really liked the covers before they did the cover switch for book 3. That's all I have to say about that.

Totally didn't need a love triangle.
Don't get me wrong, I adore this trilogy, but I just didn't really appreciate the love triangle that happens in this series. I feel like it wasn't really necessary.

Totally didn't need this book to be included in the series.
This book was so dull in my opinion. All they did was travel and I feel like nothing important happened plot wise. It was just a really pointless sequel to Matched.

Totally didn't need a cliffhanger.
I did really enjoy this book, but I hated the cliffhanger. Especially since I had to wait for the seventh book to come out.

Totally didn't need to have only one POV.
No books come to mind for this question. I don't mind if a book only has one POV.

Totally didn't need that much hype.
Unpopular opinion, but I hated this book. I tried reading book 2, and just didn't see the point in continuing the series. The characters got on my nerves and the plot wasn't all that interesting to me.

Totally didn't need a relative book reference (e.g. Hunger Games fans would like Divergent).
I got recommended this book because I enjoyed The Selection. They do have some similarities such as dystopian society and love triangles but other than that nothing. I really did enjoy Matched but the rest of the series just fell apart for me.

Totally didn't deserve my time.
I've avoided discussing my dislike for this book for a while now, but it was only a matter of time before I brought it up again. This book was such a waste of time and I can't believe I actually read the whole thing. I just really didn't like it.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

5 Star Predictions

Hello everyone!
I have so many books on my TBR that I'm super excited to read, but I can't read them all at once. So to help me prioritize my reading, I wanted to share my 5 star predictions. Hopefully I will be able to get to them all by the end of the year.

The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks
So far, both the books I've read by him have been 5 star reads and The Last Song is one of my favorite movies so hopefully this one will also be 5 stars for me.

Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas
I've loved the previous two books in this series so I'm hoping I like Catwoman's story just as much.

Heartless by Marissa Meyer
I didn't love the Lunar Chronicles, but I did enjoy Marissa Meyer's writing style. So I'm hoping that Heartless is 5 stars because it sounds like such a good read.

172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad
This is a sci-fi book that sounds right up my alley. I really want to pick this book up soon because I just know I'll love it.

The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson
I've heard so many people talk about this book who have similar book tastes to me so I'm hoping that I'll also love this book.

The Diviners by Libba Bray
This book sounds so creepy and like something I'd really enjoy. I've heard very few bad reviews for this book which is promising.

Phantom by Susan Kay
I love Phantom of the Opera so I don't see why I wouldn't love this book. I loved Roseblood which is a retelling so hopefully Phantom doesn't disappoint.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett
I have already seen the movie and absolutely loved it. I'm hoping that the book is even better.

Stain by A.G. Howard
I really enjoy her writing style and this book has such an interesting premise. I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint.

The Passage by Justin Cronin
I picked this book up on a whim and found the reviews on Goodreads to be quite promising. I hope I enjoy it just as much as so many other people. It sounds right up my alley and I can't wait to read it.

Were any of these books 5 stars for you?
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
